Ordering
To place an order please send an
email to info@classicgems.net with the name, carat weight and stock # of the gemstone(s) you are interested in.  As soon as possible I will confirm the receipt of your order with an email, and will mark the gem as reserved for you. I will also let you know the total cost for your selection(s), shipping cost and sales tax if applicable. Colorado residents will be charged 4.1% sales tax on the total amount.

Reserve Policy
Once a gem has been reserved by an email indicating an interest in purchasing that gem, it will be held as "Reserved" for about 48 hours. If a PayPal payment is not received within that time period, the gem will be taken off Reserve and offered for sale again.

Payment Method
Please send all payments in US Dollars. Payments may be made with a personal check, money order,
PayPal, or credit card. Orders paid by personal checks will be held until the check clears. If you wish to make a payment by personal check or money order please email me for sending instructions.

Credit Card payments can be made through PayPal whether you have a PayPal account or not. Please send PayPal payments to: payments@classicgems.net.

Shipping
Once your payment has been received I will send your gem(s) via USPS Priority Mail with Signature Confirmation within the US.
Shipping is by USPS unless a special request is made for UPS or FedEx.  A flat $7 will cover the USPS Priority Mail charge and an additional $1.50 per $100 of merchandise value will be added for insurance. Other shipping methods may cost extra. Please email for a shipping quote if you prefer UPS or FedEx. Shipments to other countries is by quote. Please email your shipping address for a quote.

Return Policy
We want you to be delighted with your order. We have a no questions asked 7 day return period on all items, provided they are returned in original condition and packaging. Shipping costs, insurance, import fees, tarrifs and taxes of any kind are not refundable. Just send me an email with your intent to return an item and all the necessary info will be emailed back to you.

If a gem has an issue, we try to make sure we show it in the photographs and/or mention it in the description.  Though we strive to represent our gems as completely and accurately as possible, we realize that ordering gems through a website is less than ideal.  Toward that end, our return policy is here to help reassure you in purchasing our gems.
